GAY WEST. Old Tucson Studios. 201 S. Kinney Road. 883-0100. Celebrate Gay Pride Week from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, June 28, as Old Tucson Studios presents Gay West. This family-friendly event features park shows, rides and attractions, a country-western dance under the stars, a performance by Desert Voices, a cowboy cookout, and much more. On exhibit will be the 100 Families/One Family photo-documentary, exploring the diversity and redefinition of family through pictures and photo captions. Advance tickets are $10, $8 for kids ages 4 through 12; $12 and $10 at the gate. Call 883-0100 for tickets and information. LIVE LASERS. The University of Arizona's Flandrau Science Center presents a planetarium show of a different color with live music by local band Mood Indigo, at 9 p.m. Thursday, July 3. Playing songs from their new CD, as well as classic rock covers, Mood Indigo will accompany the sights and lights of the live laser show. Tickets are $8 at the door.
